Multiple Product Orders  by 
For a multiple product order, we will make every attempt to ship all products contained in the order at the same time. Products that are unavailable at the time of shipping will be shipped as they become available, unless you inform us otherwise. You will only be charged for products contained in a given shipment, plus any applicable shipping charges. You will only be charged for shipping at the rate quoted to you on your purchase receipt. The entirety of this shipping charge may be applied to the first product(s) shipped on a multiple shipment order.

Out-of-Stock Products  by 
We will ship your product as it becomes available. Usually, orders ship within 3-5 business days of when you place your order. Orders are not processed or shipped on Saturday, Sunday or major holidays. However, there may be times when the product you have ordered is out-of-stock which will delay fulfilling your order. We will keep you informed of any products that you have ordered that are out-of-stock and unavailable for immediate shipment. You may cancel your order at any time prior to shipping.

Prescription Information and Disclaimer  by 

PLEASE NOTE ALL PRESCRIPTION ITEMS ARE NON-RETURNABLE, NON-REFUNDABLE.

Trusty Pet Supplies partners with Pet's Choice Pharmacy to fill prescriptions for our customers.

All orders for prescription medications must be accompanied by a veterinarian's original prescription and must meet the following criteria in order to be processed. Prescription medications may not be eligible for expedited delivery.

In order to process an order with a prescription medication, Pet's Choice Pharmacy must receive a valid, original veterinarian's prescription via one of the following methods.

  • Fax: Your veterinarian may fax us the original prescription to 866-787-1177.
    Note: We can not accept faxes not sent directly from the veterinarian.

  • Phone: Your veterinarian may call our pharmacy directly at 877-347-7387 and authorize the prescription. If our pharmacist is unavailable, please leave a detailed message.

  • Mail: You may send the ORIGINAL written prescription, no photo copies, to:

Note: Your veterinarian retains the right to final decisions regarding prescriptions. The customer service representatives of Trusty Pet Supplies can not compel veterinarians to provide prescriptions.

Pharmacy Laws:
A prescription MUST contain the following information PRIOR to being filled at a pharmacy.

  1. Name of owner and species of the animal
  2. Name of drug
  3. Strength of the drug
  4. Dosage form of the drug
  5. Quantity of the drug
  6. Directions for use
  7. Date of issuance
  8. Vet's name with signature
  9. Number of refills authorized

A prescription may be transmitted by facsimile(FAX) to the pharmacy ONLY by the prescribing veterinarian. The prescription CAN NOT be faxed to the pharmacy by the owner of the animal. The owner may obtain the original prescription from the vet and MAIL it in.

Shipping of Prescription Items

Prescription items can only be shipped within the 50 states and will be sent with signature confirmation. Please allow an additional business day for processing of prescription items. Additional items purchased with prescriptions will be shipped separately and will more than likely arrive before your prescription items.

Presently, Pet's Choice Pharmacy is licensed to send prescriptions to every state EXCEPT Arizona, Louisiana, North Carolina and Tennessee.  These states are pending approval, so check back soon.

Please note syringes require original prescriptions in California, Connecticut, Delaware, New Hampshire, New Jersey and New York.

Disposal of Expired/Unused Medications, Needles and Syringes

1) Follow any specific disposal instructions on the drug label or information sheet that accompanies the medication. Do not flush prescription drugs down the toilet unless this information specifically instructs you to do so.

2) If no instructions are given, throw the drugs in the household trash, but first: i) Take them out of their original containers and mix them with an undesirable substance, such as used coffee grounds or kitty litter. The medication will be less appealing to children and pets, and unrecognizable to people who may intentionally go through your trash.

ii) Put them in a sealable bag, empty can, or other container to prevent the medication from leaking or breaking out of a garbage bag.

3) Take advantage of community drug take-back programs that allow the public to bring unused drugs to a central location for proper disposal.

Syringes may be disposed of by placing them in a rigid or semi-rigid, puncture-resistant and leak proof container. Mark the container prominently with the universal Biohazard symbol. Label the container “Sharps.” Seal the container. Properly packaged household sharps can be added to the general household waste. Sharps regulations by state can be found by clicking here.

Returns and Exchanges  by 
Please understand that the following policies are in place to keep our costs low so we can pass maximum savings on to our customers.

You have 30 days from the delivery date to request a return. Please e-mail all return requests to Trusty Pet Supplies Customer Support. Please include your product id and order date in your e-mail request along with the contact e-mail used when originally placing the order. We will provide you with a return authorization number and mailing instructions. The authorization number will need to be placed directly on the shipping label or inside the packaging. In order for items to meet our return criteria, they must be unused in the original packaging as received. If an item has visibly been used, for example an item covered in pet hair, the item will be refused for return. If an item originally contained any tags etc., they must still be attached to the item as well along with the original packaging. If a returned item does not meet the criteria and is refused, you will then have two options moving forward. We can either ship the item(s) back to the customer at the customer's expense, or the items will be donated to a local animal shelter/hospital. When shipping a return, please provide a tracking number for the package in case there are any issues with the shipment and for verification of the delivery. Note: all return shipping charges are borne by the customer.

Please allow approximately 10 business days for the credit to be applied back to your account once the returned items have been received.

Restocking Fees

All returns are subject to a restocking fee unless you decide to make an exchange. If an exchange is made, the restocking fee will be waived. Some items require a restocking fee.  Restocking fees can range between 10% and 30% depending on the item.  If you have any questions about a return for a specific product, we encourage you to send us a message prior to making your purchase.   

Refused Orders

If you refuse an order, a credit will be issued for the order once the package is returned to our facility. The credit will be applied for the cost of the item minus the restocking fee and shipping cost. Please note, if you refuse a package your credit will be less the return shipping fee. Furthermore, a refused item must show no signs of being opened and/or used.

Non Returnable Items

For the safety of all of our customers, items such as pet feeding bowls are not returnable if they have been used. If you have any questions about an item being unreturnable, please contact us ahead of making your purchase and/or opening your product.

Fulfillment Mistakes

Fulfillment mistakes that we make resulting in the shipment of incorrect product to you will also be accepted for return 30 days from the date of delivery.

Shipping Policy  by 

U.S. Shipping

Shipping Time -- Orders usually ship within 3-5 business days of when you place your order, provided the product ordered is in stock. Orders are not processed or shipped on Saturday, Sunday or major holidays.

We cannot guarantee when an order will arrive, however a tracking number will be provided to you via e-mail when the item is shipped. Consider any shipping or transit time offered to you by any party only as an estimate. We encourage you to order in a timely fashion to avoid delays caused by shipping or product availability.

International Shipping

Trusty Pet Supplies has partnered with International Checkout, a trusted third-party company, to fulfill orders for over 200 countries.

Simply put the items you wish to purchase in our Shopping Cart and choose the "International Checkout" option. Your items will be transferred to International Checkout for processing. You may pay through a variety of ways including, Visa, Mastercard, American Express, PayPal or bank transfer. International Checkout will process your order, including billing, shipping and customer service. Once your order is completed, all inquiries should be directed to International Checkout at support@internationalcheckout.com.

Taxes  by 
Our Store shall automatically charge and withhold the applicable sales tax for orders to be delivered to addresses within the same state. For orders shipped to other states, you are solely responsible for all sales taxes or other taxes.

Typographical Errors  by 
In the event a product is listed at an incorrect price due to typographical error or error in pricing information received from our suppliers, Our Store shall have the right to refuse or cancel any orders placed for product listed at the incorrect price. Our Store shall have the right to refuse or cancel any such orders whether or not the order has been confirmed and your credit card charged. If your credit card has already been charged for the purchase and your order is canceled, Our Store shall immediately issue a credit to your credit card account in the amount of the incorrect price
