Description

Great for temperate forest or tropical species because it helps maintain humidity and is less prone to mold or mildew than many other beddings. Preferred substrate for many species of snakes, lizards, frogs, toads, salamanders, tarantulas, and insects. Many species of terrestrial land turtles do benefit from using Forest Floor Bedding as their substrate, but you should feed them in a separate container with no substrate or bedding (this prevents the accidental ingestion of the substrate from messy feeding turtles). Made entirely of Pure Red Cypress mulch, no fillers! Attracts waste away from animals. Satisfies animals' need to dig. (Our iguanas love to dig in their mulch area!) and is a great alternative for rodents. Clean the same way Repti Bark is cleaned (soak in hot water every 2 to 3 months).
